Prison time for Cheri's break-in

March 7, 2017

The man responsible for the break-in at Cheri's Flower Basket last September will be going to prison.
Robert Allen Price, 28 of 402 Pine Avenue South in Sandstone, pled guilty to that burglary and another felony file, and on Friday was sentenced to serve 21 months for burglary and also an additional 14 months for violating a predatory offender registration.

The burglary charge was a felony, in the third degree. Authorities arrested Price in November after an investigation. The break-in happened between 3 and 4 a.m. on Sept. 8. Missing from the business were boxes of chocolate 30-40 pairs of earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings, kid's clothing, women's clothing and a laptop computer.  The value of the stolen items were between $3,000 and $5,000.
